The world of computers is synonymous with fast-paced development and change. Computers have practical use in almost every aspect of our lives, including industry, commerce, and medicine.
The curriculum of the Computer Science Department offers students theoretical background as well as practical experience in computes, which can be used in industry or business. The course provides a student with familiarity with programming, the architecture of computer systems, and engineering software and communications.
The Computer Science Department offers two B.Sc. degrees in engineering – Software Engineering and Communications Systems Engineering, which qualify the student to be registered in the Engineer's and Architects' Registry, and a B.Sc. degree in general Computer Science.
Computer Science Faculty:
This area of study provides the student with a basic understanding of computer programming, computer basics, the structure of the computer, its operating systems and hardware, and inter-computer communications.
