New Camus will be Constructed by the Jerusalem College of Technology – Lev Academic Center
Nearly 50 years since its establishment, JCT is about to undergo an historic change, with the construction of a permanent campus for the Tal program for women. The Campus will be built in Emek Zion (Zion Valley) in Givat Mordechai, adjacent to Lev Campus and the new southern entrance to Jerusalem which is being planned. The new campus is part of Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat's vision to turn Jerusalem into Israel's leading academic city.
Construction of the campus, which is designed to serve 4,000 students, is set to begin in two-to-three years. The first building to be completed will serve the Life & Health Sciences Faculty, including the nursing department from which over 600 women will enter the healthcare field in Israel over the next five years.
