Immunotherapy against MMTV associated breast cancer Mouse Mammary Tumour Virus (MMTV) is a type B retrovirus associated with mammary carcinoma and lymphoma in laboratory mice. An increasing amount of evidence in recent years supports an involvement of MMTV in about 37% of human breast cancers. These findings suggest the use of p14 (The SP of MMTV) for immunotherapy - vaccination and passive immunization against malignant cancers that harbor MMTV. 2. Biological Applications of Ti (IV) Complexes Ti (IV) complexes are promising anti-cancer agents which show high cytotoxic activity toward numerous cancer cell lines and high stability in an aqueous environment. We examine the correlation between the complex properties: structure, hydrolytic stability and cytotoxicity in vitro and in vivo, revealing insights on the biological mechanism of their cytotoxicity, suggesting an apoptotic cell death pathway. 3.
